Clericus!
Epiphany is honored to host the next Clericus meeting of the Diocese of Pennsylvania!
The Bishop, The Rt. Reverend Daniel G. P. Gutiérrez, and all Deans, Canons, and Clergy of The Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania will be meeting at Epiphany on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. This will be the first time most of the diocese’s clergy have seen our church, and even for those that have been here before, it’s the first time they’ve seen the improvements we’ve implemented inside and outside the building.
Sunday School and Confirmation Classes
Sunday School started on Sunday, September 7, 2025. We now have two classes, one for grades K-1 and the other for grades 2-12. Thanks to our teachers, Betsy Caldwell, and our new teacher, Pam Scott, for taking up this important ministry!
Also, Confirmation Classes for our young adults will begin Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., before the service. We’re hoping Confirmation itself will be in May 2026.
Installation of the Tabernacle
On Sunday, September 21, 2025, Epiphany will hold a service to bless and dedicate our new Tabernacle. The Tabernacle is a small cabinet near the altar that holds the sacred elements, the Communion wafers and wine. Our current church doesn’t have one, and the tabernacle at our original church in Royersford was built-in so we were unable to move it to our new location. Consequently, thanks to a gift in memory of Fr. Lou’s uncle, we were able to purchase a new one.
Fr. Lou has promised a special dedication ceremony involving both children and adults, to be held as part of our regular Sunday service. Come and see!
